The Pig And Whistle

I went out with Campea and my long time friend from Welland Jeff Lava this evening. We had supper at a pub on Hollywood Blvd called The Pig And Whistle. They made a hamburger that was absolutely outstanding and should be tried by all that eat meat.

The hamburger is my go to at a restaurant; you can tell a lot about the establishment by the care in which they make one.

If the meat is succulent and covered with perfectly caramelized onions – you are off to a good start.

caramelized onions?? I love onions, but do they dip them in sugar in America? When I went to New York, the only place you could get cigars that weren’t dipped in syrup(!) was at specialty stores.

No when you fry them up they get sweet, tender and delicious! It has nothing to do with a caramel dip…yet
